Oxy Clean

I am ashamed to admit this, but it's pretty funny, so I must share.

Tonight, I was in the basement putting a load of laundry in the washer. The girls had been outside with me planting flowers, so their clothes had gotten pretty dirty. In an attempt to keep them looking nice, I was spraying Oxy Clean on the dirt spots. In the middle of the spraying, Elizabeth came down to get a hug (side note: isn't is cool that my kids still need hugs and aren't afraid to ask?) and saw me spraying away. After the hug, she said:

"Are you using Oxy Clean?"

I said "Yup."

Then she said:

"Oxy Clean - it gets stains out and whitens your whites. Safely."

I started laughing because she sounded like an ad. Then it dawned on me and I asked, "Did you hear that on TV?".

She said "Yup!"

So. They really DO repeat everything they hear.

I guess I need to make more of an effort to cut back on the TV time.
